Motivation and Empowerment when it Feels Impossible

Mission Statement

My goal is to provide relevant information that I have learned during my time as a substance use disorder counselor, during my public health studies, and just from living the human experience. These may be things that helped to change my perspective with my hopes being that it may help guide at least one person in the world. This will include academic research articles and my commentary as both a previous mental health patient and substance use disorder counselor.

Experience and Professionalism

I believe that each individual offers something unique and valuable. A thought that many of us have, which can lead to both physical and emotional experiences, is that we are not good enough in some way or another. This is a different experience for each individual and can feel isolating, so we often distract ourselves with something more rewarding to the brain. Do not be afraid to reach out, we are all humans and deserve respect (along with practicing healthy boundaries). Let's share some mental health information.
